A sense of humour

Almost nothing is more helpful in dealing with people than a sense of humour. A sense of humour doesn't necessarily mean a knack for telling jokes. Rather, it means the ability to take some setbacks and still see that the world has not come to an end. As what I see that if you can keep from taking a situation or yourself too seriously. You will get much better result. And all the people would like to listen to your story, your things, your smile and they might responded with you and may win a amusing reply with smile. When we go for dinning, we chat with the captain and waiters. And they would be eager to meet you as they feel life you are not boring to work with! I got discount from certain restaurant not just because I am a frequent visitor, I got a better seat because they want to see you there… and they will jump the queue and offer seat for you as you are not the boring chaps…

If you can still keep a smile in crisis and recession, that all requires certain wisdom to do that. People who rely on you will show their appreciation through better work and greater loyalty.
It is not the proper role of humor to make fun of others, self-deprecating humor is positive because it encourages humility. It also fosters courage, for that is exactly what is needed to remove the mask one normally wears and expose one's weaknesses to all.

Much research has been done on the on the effects of humor and laughter on our health. The benefits are enormous and include boosting our immune system, reducing stress, relaxing muscles, lowering blood pressure, increasing our tolerance for pain, and hastening the healing process.

In his Creed for Optimists, Christian D. Larsen tells you how you can be somebody.
Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
Make all your friends feel there is something special in them.
Look at the sunny side of everything.
Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best.
Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Give everyone a smile.
Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others.
Be too big for worry and too noble for anger.

He head of the firing squad asked the condemned man, "Before we shoot you, would you like a last cigarette?" And the prisoner replied, "No thanks, I'm trying to quit smoking!"

A woman is standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror. She is not happy with what she sees and says to her husband, 'I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really need you to pay me a compliment. 'The husband replies, 'Your eyesight's damn near perfect.'

Thomas Edison (1847 ~ 1931), we'll be able to say, "When down in the mouth, remember Jonah. He came out OK." As long as we maintain our sense of humor, we'll never be poor. How will you know if you have a good sense of humor? Frank Tyger explains, "The ultimate test of whether you posses a sense of humor is your reaction when someone tells you you don't."
