Proper Dress code of service engineer

Service engineer should not wear jeans, sneakers and sloppy shirts.

We should put Chinos or other professional looking pants and a nice shirt or golf shirt and a pair of black shoes on.

It is very professional for us to dress like that going into customers. He is representing company and not looking professional. It does not give a very good first or lasting impression.

People tend to act professionally if they dress professionally.

When we were in college, one of the things that were stressed by the Professor was dressing for success. If you dress like a slob or a janitor you will be treated with that level of consideration. If you dress like a professional, you will be treated as a professional.

It is a way to display ourselves with proper dress code as this is important. Clothes don’t make the man, but ragged looking clothes do kill the man’s image in a professional and demanding semiconductor world.
