The Key words you should be aware when you come to HK. You may have to learn a few words before you enter this place.
Giki Giki
As What I had mentioned , I used to Travel on ship aboard, so I have learn a few intention al work like “Giki Giki” means go whoring, or go fuck with some one…
This is claimed to be an international understanding word for sailor and prostitutes working at the harbour or wharf all over the world…
Whorbitting
Another world is “Whorbitting” a compound word for Whore and Orbiting, this means we go and walk and watch for the whore but never confirm the sex deal. That is like we are a planet rotating around the Whore in an orbit.
Sexperience:
Another work is sexperience, with someone I used to talk to…That is to describe your experience on sex…
PK
Another word is PK which I started to us in 1987.. This PK is a short form or English Abbreviation for Puk Kai. I am not sure if I am one of the earliest one to use this word but since then the DJ in the Radio station started talking this word.
CYPLCK
Also I invented this word CYPLCK…. In Cantonese is is “ Ching Yat Pok Lun Tzat Kai” If you are Cantonese you will know this is meaning” you really a drop dead in the street kind of People” It is a bad word and very offensive word.
Sea Food Hunt
Another word is definitely invented by me is “ Sea food Hunt”, we pronounce it in English “ Sea food Hunt” meaning that you are a kind of fuzzy people who is really an ass hole.
If you are a foreigner, please do not talk to any Cantonese “Sea Food hunt” I am sure he will be annoyed.
In Cantonese, “Sea Food” means ass hole, “Hunt” means Itchy!
There are a few common words that we have to know in Cantonese.
Diu,
It is commonly be heard in Hong Kong This word is forbidden in School, office, public area . Diu is meaning fuck, is a common profanity in Cantonese. The word is used as a verb. Although it is considered to be a vulgar word in Cantonese.
In a manner similar to the English word fuck, diu is also used to express dismay, disgrace, disappointment, as an exciting expression and disapproval in Cantonese. For example, someone may shout "diu nei!" ("fuck you!" or "fuck off!") at somebody when she finds the other person annoying..
The word diu is generally considered to be offensive and is not supposed to speak in Public.
Gau
Gau is a common vulgar word in Cantonese that literally means man’s sexual organ., the Cantonese phrase mo lei tau gau (無厘頭尻) that means "makes no sense" was cut to mo lei tau to avoid the sound gau. A common usage is the phrase ngong gau, an adjective that may be translated as a "dumbnut"
Lan
In Cantonese lan is another vulgar word that means penis撚which has the same pronunciation but means "to tease" and "to toy with" instead. Before the 1960s the character 撚 was commonly used in non-vulgar context, such as 撚手小菜 (signature dish) and 撚化 (to play a practical joke on). But in recent decades the character 撚 is generally considered to be equivalent to the vulgar word. A common usage is the phrase lan yeung (撚樣) which maybe translated into English as "Dick head".
Tsat
In Cantonese, Tsat is a vulgar word for an erect penis.
Hai
In Cantonese hai is a common vulgar word that literally means vagina. The English equivalent is "cunt A common usage is the phrase so hai (傻閪) that may be translated as "dick head".
Puk gai
The written form of puk kai commonly seen in Hong Kong.
Puk gai 仆街; literally means "falling into street", which is a common curse phrase in Cantonese that may be translated into English as "may you drop dead in the street". Originally it meant that when you die, your body will rot on the street because all your family and friends have left you and no one cares for you. It is sometimes used as a noun to refer to an annoying person that roughly means a "prick". The phrase can also be used in daily life under a variety of situations to express annoyance, disgrace or other emotions. Since the phrase does not involve any sexual organs or reference to sex, some argue that it should not be considered as profanity. Nevertheless, "PK" is often used as a euphemism for the phrase.
Ham gaa caan
Ham gaa caan 冚家鏟; is another common curse phrase in Cantonese that literally means "may your whole family be dead". Like puk gai, the phrase can both be used to mean "prick" or to express annoyance, It is very profanity.
Legal issues
In Hong Kong there are specific laws that forbid the usage of profanity in public. For instance, by Hong Kong law any person shall not "use obscene language... in Ocean Park", and "an offence is liable on conviction to a fine at level 1 and to imprisonment for 1 month." In the trains of MTR, it is prohibited to "use any threatening, abusive, obscene or offensive language....” However, despite the explicit prohibition of various laws, the exact definition of "obscene language" is not given in the ordinance.

Love is Trivial Comedy made up of important Tragedies
Love is the trivial comedy made of important tragedies.
This is my word to describe so call love…I have been graduated in Technical school, I was addicted to wireless and building of audio amplifier when I was studying.
I had no chance to meet any girl due to my inward character, I decided to leave this little city and explore the world by traveling through working on board a merchant vessel.
That three years work on ship brought me a lot of interesting experience. I had been to 60 cities in 20 countries. From Vancouver of the East, South of Brisbane, West to the St. Vincent Islands and North to Rostock of East Germany, (Iit was 1983 well before the Berlin Wall was demolished, so Rostock was in East Germany.)
I started writing with pen pal when I was on the ship and I had more than 14 pen pals at same time, amongst them I fell in love with one of the Thai lady. She was tall, sweet, young and able to speak very good English… I saw her in Bangkok in 1984 and decided to marry her immediately… we had a very. good time, and probably the best time in my life as I stayed in Thailand for two years with her no work… I thought that I understood woman but somehow that marriage last for 10 years only, I had the first baby. Now she is grown up and she is the best student in the University, I love her as I need to compensate for the time I did not stay with her and she is my Baby!
My second one is also a Thai; I met her since I separated with the first one. Well; she gave me one of the best beautiful daughter I can think of…
All in sudden another lady came in sight of me and I could not resist her charms, tall, sweet, lager round eye does seem to belong to Chinese. Speak softly with certain magic sexy voice. A straight nose that keeps telling me that she is so different with most of the woman in town…
Time will tell as all kind of goodness and sweet memories has gone. People will change or may be I had changed…. All in sudden there is no contact each other, no reply of her SMS.
Well, again there seems another one is appearing in my society…. She is taller than I, slim with pair of long legs and pretty body… a kind of nose and face profile that she is signified as a minority races of China… man,,,, I am 50… should this be my last romance…!?
As I always telling to the young kids…. Woman is like water… a kind of trouble water…. When it is cold it frozen it self and when there is heat, she evaporates and disappears.
We have to maintain her at certain temperature that feel her "Hot" but not to a level for evaporation! That is difficult! That is impossible, so if you find that you are in Love, please treasure this precious moment, though you and she are acting and as I believe there is few true love… Love is Once in a Blue Moon!
Man, if your are single, I am sure you are the most happiest man! And if you married once your shoulder will be loaded with 50Kg, 100Kg for Twice… how many Kilograms you can stand!?

The Culture of Tooth Pick in Hong Kong
Tooth pick is designed to be used in Rest room or at home, that is why there is no tooh pick in a French or Italian Restaurant.
There are tooth Pick on average table in an average restaurant. In Certain higher class restaurant, they serve the tooth pick on a plate after the meal. These Tooth pick has been individually sealed in paper envelop.
Some of them even have one side dipped with Menthol to give you a kind of mint refreshment.
In a Chinese Restaurant, after a eating the yummy dim sum, most of the people would start to work on the teeth with a tool pick. Some of them have addicted to be as a Culture.
They eat with one hand holding the chopsticks and the other hand holding a tooth pick.
I have seen the follow way of using tooth pick.
1. with Mouth Open, and use one hand to pick the food residues between teeth one by one. Use hand to pull out the bigger bit.
2. With mouth open, use the tooth pick to eject the food residues which was trapped between two wisdom tooth, if you are lucky, you can see this food debris can fly over a few feet away towards you!
3. Use one hand to pull open the lips and one hand to manipulate the tooth pick, looks like he is performing some dental operation. But there is no nurse or dental assistant.
4. Some of the people use the tooth pick as tool to pick out the food at the top of tooth pick and press it onto the table cloth in front of him. Some more profound people has a bit Hygienic gesture, he will put the food residues onto the table cloth under the table…
5. Some one can even chew and or eat the food debris at the tip of the tooth pick!
6. An absurb action is holding the tooth pick and to remove the food residues by the mouth self… This takes certain practice and I have seen people does it this way, but there is always a risk that the food residues will be ejected out to the out people at the table.
7. The older generation people used to go Dim Sum on Sunday many years ago, after leaving the restaurant, they hold the tooth pick by his lips for hours after leaving the restaurant, This is to tell his friends or neighbors he has been to the restaurant, nowadays this culture was carried out by some of the grass root people.
Next time , when you are eating in restaurant, try to observe how they use the tooth pick... it is funny but that is nasty!

Hong Kong People
There are a lot of things we should alert as we see a lot of people doing things differently as we were 25 years ago.
We value people who care about other and who pay respect to the elderly, who nods his head when seeing you in the office. Say “good Moring” as simple as that, do you find this kind of general courtesy has been losing its popularity?
Hong Kong, it is common to see people tend to queue in a Bank or MTR station for ticket verification or topping up with their Octopus cards. But …
These are my finding; the figure my personal feeling. But roughly it indicates the picture of it...
1. More than 90% of people will not follow the traffic light day time and probably 99% after midnight.
2. More than 50% of the people do jaywalking across the road.
3. Less than 50% of coming hiker initiatively says “Hello” or “Good morning” to you on the Hill.
4. More than 90% of the people presses the Lift Button whilst it has been pressed and being light up ( from The electrical circuit and electronic logic, once you press the button, it trigger a flip-flop logic circuit and it starts the software routine command the lift to come to your floor, indication is usually a pilot lamp being light up after the button is pressed Once. From an Electrical circuitry analysis, keep on pressing more than once does not speed up the Process of the lift travelling speed. If you can find a newer Lift software or model which does speed up with a proportion to the number of time of pressing the button, please let me know)
5. Parents seem do not stop his naughty kid fooling around in the carriage of MTR like tube dance, playing gymnastic on the rest bar
6. 70% of the people are either sleeping or resting with closed eye in the morning going to work Monday Morning in MTR. They have had a long night on Sunday... and they are general "Very Tired"!
7. 30% of the people s ether watching free newspaper, 20% of the people Playing PSP and or hand phone in MTR. Less than 5 percent people reading novels, Times, or Newsweek, I have not seen a single person carry or reading Reader’s Digest for years. That has been the most popular magazine 25 years ago. Now the Most Popular magazine is "TV News"!
8. They used all kind of low quality digitized song as their ring tones, that kind of digital noise can easily kill a mosquito or even rat in the MTR. This is so called Hong Kong "Noise".
9. 90% of the people do not offer seat to the older people or pregnant people. They Pretend not aware of it.
10. Less than 0.01% of Hong Kong people carry a handkerchief.
11. 90% of flapper, OL and lady below 70 years old has changed colour of their hair, Do not know what Black Hair beauty really looks like…
12. 90% of man calls his wife “mother” and “son “younger Brother” , woman calls his husband “ father” and daughter “ elder sister” or “younger sister”. Make me confused!
13. 99% of Hong Kong people have never say “ I love you” to their Mother? 99.9% of the man has kissed his mother in the past ten months.
14. 90% of man talks about dirty jokes about woman during lunch time and bluff their performance in bed, but many of them are having no sexeperience at all.

16. Less than 40% woman wear skirt to work.
17. Less than 10% of man actually cleans their shoe before leaving for work. ( I do not have data for the one has house keeper(s))
18. 99% of HK People not preferred to walk up stair in MTR station if there is an electric escalator nearby. Unless the escalator is jammed with people or under repairing.
19. Rushing for seat in the terminus is accepted as general practice of HK people.
20. The popular drinks on board CX is Orange Juice, Apple juice and if no choice than take the water. As most of the HK people is like me “a Snob”… Cheap water?…no..!
21. 25 years ago, number of single man is more than single woman by 5%, woman is the chooser, so 5% of man would have to go China looking for wife as China is a big market of young beautiful and easy going woman and they seemed like to marry a “rich” HK man.
Now, the number of single woman is more than that of man, reason is more educated woman tends to stay single for longer and pass over the age for marriage, more and more mainland China woman using fake marriage to come and stay in Hong Kong.
Nowadays, the single woman tends to go China to marry a man as the Chinese Man is in average "Richer" than Hong Kong man…
As the old Chinese says, “ The World is Round!”
22. 99.8% of the people travelling overseas for shopping, eating and nightlife. Less than 0.1% of the people had experience in visiting the museum, classical music concert, and Library! and likely 0.1% of the HK People is doing day dreaming overseas.

26. 99.99% of HK man thinks Digital music is more attractive than Analogue music Reproduction.
27. In Hong Kong, Only One Man uses a mammoth Sony Walkman WM-D6C when he travels. Likely you know he is the only stubborn die hard analogue maniac! He Must not know there is something called MP3!

Another Sucessful Year for ASM... World No. 1 Semiconductor Equipment Supplier
As 2009 draws to a close, some people will argue that it's been a tough year since 15th Sep 2008 when the Lehman Brothers melt down. Most IC business experts agree that things have changed forever. However, as I have said in the past, change is neither intrinsically good nor bad in all cases. It is almost always an opportunity and that is certainly true for the future of our industry!
ASM technologies are perfectly aligned to address the emphasis on 'Green-Technologies' adopted by all governments world-wide. From IC, Discrete components, LED, CMOS Image sensor assembly equipment to photovoltaics inspection machines. ASM offers innovative and effective solutions to the most challenging demand of the Electronics and Semiconductor customers.
From the powerful support of the factories in China, Singapore and Hong Kong, we have successfully captured most of the IC players, gained their trust on the Equipment performance and reliability. Outperform other strong European, Amercian Japanese Competitors in term of Output per dollar and Stability. Therefore, ASM continue to maintain the World No.1 Position as a Semiconductor Equipment supplier since 2002.
The share price of ASM hit a historical high at HKD$80.00 yesterday and that may be an indication of the fund managers who have good speculation on ASM‘s future success, and as an acknowledgement of ASM‘s strong backlog and future business vision in 2010.
Being a Hong Kong Citizen, and we should be proud to see such successful Company that can be stand up with good track record in the past 34 years. Whereby neither Working diligently with the hardworking engineers and flexible problem solving tradition of Typical HK way, without any financial nor support of any kinds from the Government of Hong Kong.
We are looking forward to see this Company would have another organic growth in 2010.

Words of wisdom
Love is a trivial comedy made up of important tragedies.
It does not matter whom you marry with, as she will look and behave differently after wake up!
Don’t be silly that there is love, they are only trades of family relation and stock for your hope tomorrow.
Don’t fear Pressure as it turns Rusted stone into Diamond.
Believe your life is worth living, your believe will make your life Happy.
Whenever you go, take your whole heart along.
Heal the past, live the present, dream the tomorrow.
The Key of happiness is having a dream, The key to success if to make the dream comes true.

Every year Tsuen Wan MTR terminus has being well make up with lot of lights from end November till Chinese New Year. Since 2008, Tsuen Wan District office had decided to go LED to replace the incandescent lamps for such Christmas lights.
In Hong Kong, there are a lot of Christmas lighting in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui Commercial Centre. In recent studies 20 out of 24 major buildings in Hong Kong Island are still using incandescent lights, rough estimation there are minimum 100,000 light bulbs that could produce 1,100 tons of CO2 in beginning of December till 20 Feb 2010.
That amount of Energy is an equivalent of 360 families of 4 members' total electrical power consumption for one year.
I think Hong Kong is an advance City, but in the sense of environment protection, we are still in the Stone Age. Same as this Super Power Countries that gather in Denmark spending two weeks in meetings. After all, there is no reduction nor Committment on CO2 Reduction at all. Instead they created additional 200,000 Tons CO2 emission by flying Denmark. The cars are still running with low efficient engines, People are till using incandescent light bulbs, merely about trivial 0.1% of the general lighting is using Efficient LED.

Only LED manufacturer and LED manufacturing equipment company could possibly save the world by producing High Power LED that can beat the price of the Incandescent Lamp with same amount of lighting intensity output. I think we have to wait for another 3-5 Years!

Always Remember Those Who serve
In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table.
A waitress put a glass of water in front of him."How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it."Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.
The little boy again counted his coins."I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away.
The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies..You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

Forwarded from an US friend John, this reminds me that we are working in the servicing Inductry. It is crucial to pay respect to anyone who serves us beofre we could be paied respect by others.

Dynasty Restaurant
I used to take The famous Char Siu at Dynasty, but two days ago, I was very surprise that the Roasted Ox tongue had such a great favour!
It had a very strong beef taste, the OX togur texture was very tender, absolutely full of juice, but we could not found the juice when we cut it into samller pieces. I wonder that the juice was actually the Chemical Effect of the taste buds and the Ox tongue!?
It is best goes with Red Wine.
The Steam grouper was fantasty! Just the right timing for steaming, very light taste of the best virgin Soya Sauce. Put the fish source on top of the Thai Steam Plain Rice...I rate it as the 2nd best steam fish after the Prince...
The Rennaisance Hotel will be demilished after three months, so as the Dyasty Restaurant, after tha, these great favour probably an experience of the 1,000 years of Cantonese Cooking Magic will soon becoming history.
We had a great time with Samuel , the San Francisco Celebrity and Johnny, Dato from Malaysia.
Please get the chance to go and make a reservation now.

MTR Mass Transit Railway Hong Kong
The Mass Transit in Hong Kong is running by MTRC and we call MTR locally.
The MTR of Hong Kong has been a standard and common transportation that brings everyone closer everyday. I cannot imagine how Hong Kong would be if we do not have the MTR.
I was told by Russian The Logo of MTR is a Russian Word meaning "Lady's Toilet"!

Hong Kong Enters Seasonal Greetings!
Starting Mid November each year, major Shopping Centres, Commercial Buildings, banks and Hotels would be beautified themselves with lot of Lights and electronics animations for welcoming the Christmas and New Year. When the weather becomes colder as It was tenth of year before, the hawker would apprear in major hot spot area for selling the Chestnuts, by then we knew the Winter is coming. In this year, we can see the Chestnuts, but the cilmate is not cold at all. Can We officially saying that We have no more Winter in Hong Kong?!
In my wardrobe, I had no more sweater or thick jackets, as we hardly could feel that "Cold" as It was 30 years ago. In fact we have lost the Winter already due to the global Warming, or I should say "Global Warning"

The Luxury Brands in Hong Kong 2009
Luxury Brands in Hong Kong
Recently one of my Malaysian Friend told me that he had an unpleasant treatment by Flag Ship Shop of Louis Vuitton.
He asked the pretty sales lady how much is that bag displaying in the corner and the lady said , please wait for a while!” …actually she went away to welcome the incoming crowd of Chinese …
He said that he was being handled improperly and he was very much in dismay, I told him that next time Do not ask how much for the bag, but instead How many they have in Stock~?
This is an episode happening in the market of Hong Kong, Do not blame the sales as she might be really too busy, or she might be forget to come back to my friend, or she is really needed to entertain this Chinese who never ask price but holding bundles of Cash for the bag…
The Sales lady earns by commission, but, to certain extend they should not treat customer this way, as we should every customer the same kind of respect…and Courtesy!
In the 80-90’s The most powerful buyer is Japanese, and now we can see that is Chinese.
The World has changed, as the sales team had to learn how to Speak Japanese, but now if you do not know how to speak Mandarin, you might lose your customers.
So if you do not know how to pronounce it , we may have to learn it next time you go to the store, may be we will be gaining a bit more respect… when there is no Chinese Customer!

John Grisham's THE RAINMAKER is adapted to film in this suspenseful retelling by Francis Ford Coppola. In Memphis, struggling young attorney Rudy Baylor (Matt Damon) joins a shady law firm headed by Bruiser Stone (Mickey Rourke).
After the firm comes under investigation, Rudy and fellow employee Deck Schifflet (Danny DeVito) start their own practice. While trying to dig up clients, Rudy meets a young spousal abuse victim, Kelly Riker (Claire Danes), and convinces her to leave her husband (Andrew Shue). But Rudy's biggest case is defending a young man (Johnny Whitworth) dying of leukemia and his mother (Mary Kay Place) against the insurance company who wrongfully denied their claim.
During testimony Rudy uncovers proof that the insurance company has a practice of denying all claims. As his relationship with Kelly takes a dangerous turn and the trial uncovers more insurance fraud, it seems Rudy must decide between being a good man or being a good lawyer.
The Rainmaker is a 1997 movie. It Celebrates the zeal for justice espoused by a rookie Memphis lawyer. With the overbearing soundtrack, unimaginative cinematography, and indulgently tear-jerking ending ... this all adds up to a surprisingly derivative movie from Coppola.
The SAW VI, released 23 Oct 2009
Saw VI has received mixed reviews from film critics. Some praised it as being the best in the series while others dismissed the film for its "terrible acting", "laughable logic" and "political spin". It grossed $14.1 million its opening weekend, the lowest of the Saw films to date. Despite this, it was still a financial success, grossing over $53 million against its $11 million production budget. The film was the first to receive a Película X rating in Spain for violence and not for pornographic, restricting screenings to eight select theaters in that region. I have watched all SAW movies from 1-6, I rate the VI is best of all!
There are common theme of these two movie, as to make a pyschic prosecution to the unfair handling of medical claims of the insurance clients, Being an insurance practitioners, agents, manager for claim, and those who set-up the policy for unclaimed Insurance should stay watching these movie and open your eyes. Both Movies had "an undesirable and unpleasant ending" that those bad people will lose either money or their lives…

Advice to the bachelor
Love is a trivial comedy made up of important tragedies.
It does not matter whom you marry with, as they are all different after wake up!
Don’t be silly that there is love; they are only trades of family relation and stock for your hope tomorrow.
Is she the ultimate one!? Did you even watch another girl when you with her? If yes, you are not in love, but only some kind of man's need.
Did you ever think of having baby with her? If yes, Congratulations, you may be in love with her 90%, still 10% you want to make baby with other girl...
So before you marry, think three times, one after 1 year... after 3 years, review it again... For another cooling period of 10 months, if she is still waiting for you... You should consider her for the marriage!
I do not need to share with those Married guys, as it is too late!

HK's Foreign currency reserve is 7th Highest in the world
The HK Monetary Authority has an USD$256B as the foreign currency reserve , which is world's 7th Largest.
But side by side of this wonder data, there are over 900,000 people whose income is less than HKD $4,000 a month in Hong Kong! That is about USD$490.00! Is that an ironic contradiction?!
As what we had mentioned before, we have to find ways to lower the Gini Index of HK, thus to create harmony for the people of the whole HK ;- creating more jobs, fix the minimum wages to say HKD40.00 an hour, tax exemption, educational aids, subsidization on food and transportation, more like Tax exemption for companies who offer more jobs for the lower income people...etc
There must have a lot of ways to keep the Gini Index lower a bit. In order to build a better society, we have to contribute more.
Mr. Tsang, please help the people in poverty!

10 Energy Facts on China
The environmental impact of China is significant, with its large population, large reserves of coal, a fast-growing economy, and not being bound to international greenhouse gas emissions targets. Yet, when determining which countries are responsible for climate change, we see it as important to see the facts expressed on a per-capita and cumulative basis.
1. A small proportion of cumulative emissions
Over the past century, the 23 richest countries – representing 14 per cent of the current global population – have been responsible for 60 per cent of accumulated CO2 emissions. Mainland China – representing 20 per cent of the current global population – has been responsible for only 8 per cent.
2. Low per capita emissions
In 2004, the average person in the United States emitted 20.5 tons of CO2 – equivalent to emissions of 5 people in China. The average per-capita level for G-7 countries was 12 tonnes – the equivalent level for 3 people in China.
3. Low emissions in transport
The average person in USA takes 18 times as many airline flights as the average Chinese person and is 50 times more likely to own a car.
4. Export sector accounts for about one-third of China's CO2 emissions
This is equivalent to the combined emissions of Germany, France and the UK. Countries that outsource production and consume Chinese goods must assume some responsibility.
5. Disproportionately affected by climate change
The melting of glaciers alone could seriously affect the water supply of a quarter of a billion people in China.
6. Less capacity to respond to climate crisis
In China, 35 per cent of the population live on less than two dollars per day, and 10 per cent on less than one dollar per day.
7. A leader in renewable energy
China ranks second for investments in renewable energy (about US$12 billion), after Germany (US$14 billion). (2007)
8. A leader in low carbon transport
In 2008, China implemented a 36 miles per gallon fuel economy standard for passenger vehicles, almost 40 per cent higher than in USA.
9. Energy efficiency
China has reduced the energy intensity of GDP by over 60 per cent since 1980 and targets to reduce it by a further 20 per cent by 2010. (2005 figures)
10. High efficiency technology
Since 2005, the Chinese government has required high-efficiency, super-critical, coal-fired technology for new large power plants. In 2007, 553 smaller inefficient power plants with a total generating capacity of 14.38GW were shut down.
Note that from this, the energy awareness is one of the major government policy. China is a Leader in renewable energy, second after Germany.
China is promoting the EV car, the adoption of LED to replace incandescent lamp, and the expansion of Unclear electricity...
All the related business related to this would generating billion of revenue, such as the EV car Companies, LED factories and Energy Resources companies!

Eating Dog In Hong Kong ^_^
I talked to the manager of KFC shop at Discovery Park that these two Sign boards have a problem if they are placed together as shown!
The first time I saw it, I felt that it implies the meaning that "This KFC food do not have dog meat!"
In Hong Kong, only the old Hong Kongers ate dog in 50-60's, and the law of Hong Kong had banned the eating of dog meat in 80's.
8 years ago, one man who challenged this law by eating dog meat in a village, and his neighbourer called the police... The guy who had made an offend to the dog was in jail later on! This was one of known cases of imprisonment of a man who had eaten dog meat.
I know the Korean eats dog!! And it is common in the street! I was told so by my friends but I have not seen it as I have not been to Korea more than 10 years!
Dog is human good friend!! We can not eat them!

Marriage Tradition in Hong Kong
I am not too sure what traditional obis that as Since my first marriage , second marriage and probably next marriage m I have never had any things like what Most of the HK peoples does…To make some wedding picture at the studies and to book the restaurant or two years in advance.
What I am trying to say is that marriage is just kind formalities that the woman side wants to have some kind of certification, bondage or WARRANTY on hand, and that does not mean that after we can live up with that forever.
No one is able to live together for many years, and does not guarantee fun or happiness if we find ourselves does not like each other or find that we can not stay together in same place everyday.
One thing for sure, these kind of marriage tradition would be supported by the hotel and restaurants as this is where their major revenues is from.
If I would marry again, I will buy a decent watch of pieces of diamond that can be seen 10 meters away and I will not spend that kind of money to make 10-100 tables to invite our friends coming the wedding Show…
I would Like to take a vacation for two months, probably run away to some place and spend the time quietly between she and me… After return HK, we will invite some of the best friends to take casual dinner, probably, we need a better bottle of wine… a DRC, Petrvs, latour or Lafifte.

You may be there already!?
A small sampan docked in a tiny fishing village at Sai Kung. Though this place has becoming commercialized in recent yeas, but there are still a lot of people doing fishing for a living.
An American tourist complimented the old fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.
"Not very long." they answered in unison. "Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"
The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families as they stay at Sai Kung and they have what they need, besides, they do not need to worry on place for staying as they have their old village house their father passed to him.
"But what do you do with the rest of your time?" The Gwai Low asked
"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take Char Siu bao with our wives.
In the evenings, we go into the village to meet our friends, have a few tea, play the flute, and sing a few Cantonese Operas…We have a full life."
The tourist interrupted, "I have a PHD from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."
You can then leave this little village and move to the bigger fisher port like Aberdeen sellling fishes to the Jumbo restaurant for instances.
"And after that?" the old Fisherman said.
"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. Did you ever see the movie Forrest Gump, he made a fortune this way and became Fortune 100 millionaire! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."
"I watched Forrest Gump movie with my kid and I think that is a touching movie, but How long would that take?"
"Ten, fifteen, perhaps twenty years." replied the Gwai Low tourist.
"And after that?"
"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting, " answered the tourist, laughing.
"When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make big money like millions!"
"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the old fishermen.
"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, perhaps in Southern China, or you can move to Canada, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a Char Siu Bao cake with your wives and spend your evenings drinking tea or and enjoying your friends."
“That’s what we are doing now!!” Replied the fishermen.

My Salute to the Taxi Driver
Though you may hear about that there are a lot of bad taxi drivers… rude, rough driving skill, not intending to return the small changes to you, pretend he does not know the way and ask you to lead him…find extra street and road to keep the meter running …!
But I am sure that are a lot of Professional Taxi Drivers.
This is the Story
My little girl lost her hand phone in an early taxi to her school Wednesday.
That is her new phone I bought her 10 days ago, it is a Sony Ericsson new model with sliding key pad, after her old one was damanaged by accident. She does not know to take care her phone at all!
She Told me she lost it in the taxi, So I believed her and call her phone number after 10 hours and immediate answer was from a am how identified himself Taxi Driver with a pleasant voice saying that he was the one to find the phone on his way sending a young and pretty school girl to school.
Well he is HK island Driver and would be returning the phone to me when he comes to Kowloon side…
Yesterday morning he called he and saying that he intended to send me the phone first before he start earning his living by meeting me the same place my daughter got the taxi
And I got the phone
Hs is a middle aged man, with a polite and decent voice, full of smiles on his face and he just requested me to pay for the amount on the taxi meter fro m his Place in Hong Kong to Kowloon.
I dropped him HKD250.00 he did not intend to receive so much it as the meter shown HKD150…
Well I enforced him to get it..
This is a driver of the Taxi KB9815.
I have to show my salute to this gentleman…
And I am sure Hong Kong has ten thousand of such good taxi drivers.
This is very important to have this kind of taxi driver, they are the real Tourist Ambassador, not Jackey Chan nor this Miss Hong Kong … I am not trying to rule out their role in promoting Hong Kong tourism and a s a matter of fact Jackey Chan is my idol and a learning model in Hong Kong. But there are ten thousands of Taxi driving is doing their real time job as a tourism ambassador for Hong Kong. We should not demolish their contribution to Hong Kong transportation services…

After all, when he returns home, he would feel lonely with empty pockets as his money would likeyl be lost in Happy Valley, drunk after two bottles Petrus 1961, and lost his wallet to a flapper he met in a night Club, and last thing he remembered was after they went to Kent Hotel at Kowloon Tong.... he could not find his wallet anymore!!

Lies of My Mother
This story begins when I was a child: I was born in a poor family. Often we hadn'tenough to eat. Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me herportion of rice. While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say "Eat this rice, son! I'm not hungry."This was Mother's First Lie.
As I grew, Mother gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that from the fish she caught, she could give me a little bit more nutritious food for my growth. Once she had caught just two fishes, she would make fish soup. While I was eating the soup, mother
would sit beside me and eat the what was still left on the bone of the fish I had eaten, My heart was touched when I saw it. Once I gave the other fish to her on my chopstick but she immediately refused it and said, "Eat this fish, son! I don't really like fish."
This was Mother's Second Lie.
Then, in order to fund my education, Mother went to a Match Factory to bring home some used matchboxes, which she filled with fresh matchsticks. This helped her get some money to cover our needs. One wintry night I awoke to find Mother filling the matchboxes by candlelight. So I said, "Mother, go to sleep; it's late: you can continue working tomorrow morning." Mother
smiled and said "Go to sleep, son! I'm not tired."This was Mother's Third Lie.
When I had to sit my Final Examination, Mother accompanied me. After dawn, Mother waited for me for hours in the heat of the sun. When the bell rang, I ran to meet her.. Mother embraced me and poured me a glass of tea that she had prepared in a thermos. The tea was not as strong as my Mother's love, Seeing Mother covered with perspiration, I at once gave her my glass and asked her to drink too. Mother said "Drink, son!I'm not thirsty!".
This was Mother's Fourth Lie.
After Father's death, Mother had to play the role of a single parent. She held on to her former job; she had to fund our needs alone. Ourfamily's life was more complicated. We suffered from starvation. Seeingour family's condition worsening, my kind Uncle who lived near my housecame to help us solve our problems big and small. Our other neighborssaw that we were poverty stricken so they often advised my mother tomarry again. But Mother refused to remarry saying "I don't need love."This was Mother's Fifth Lie.
After I had finished my studies and gotten a job, it was time for my oldMother to retire but she carried on going to the market every morningjust to sell a few vegetables. I kept sending her money but she wassteadfast and even sent the money back to me. She said, "I have enoughmoney."That was Mother's Sixth Lie.
I continued my part-time studies for my engineering Degree. Funded by theDutch Corporation for which I worked, I succeeded in my studies. Witha big jump in my salary, I decided to bring Mother to enjoy life inHolland but Mother didn't want to bother her son; she said to me "I'mnot used to high living."That was Mother's Seventh Lie.
In her dotage, Mother was attacked by cancer and had to be hospitalized. Now living far across the ocean, I went home to visit Mother who wasbedridden after an operation. Mother tried to smile but I was heartbroken because she was so thin and feeble but Mother said, "Don'tcry, son! I'm not in pain."That was Mother's Eighth Lie.
For those people who are lucky to be still blessed with your Mothers presence,

The History for the Middle Finger
Before the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, the French, anticipating victory over the English, proposed to cut off the middle finger of all captured English soldiers. Without the middle finger it would be impossible to draw the renowned English longbow and therefore they would be incapable of fighting in the future.
This famous English longbow was made of the native English Yew tree, and the act of drawing the longbow was known as ‘plucking the yew' (or 'pluck yew').
Much to the bewilderment of the French, the English won a major upset and began mocking the French by waving their middle fingers at the defeated French, saying, See, we can still pluck yew!
Since 'pluck yew' is rather difficult to say, the difficult consonant cluster at the beginning has gradually changed to a labiodentals fricative F', and thus the words often used in conjunction with the one-finger-salute!
It is also because of the pheasant feathers on the arrows used with the longbow that the symbolic gesture is known as 'giving the bird.'
IT IS STILL AN APPROPRIATE SALUTE TO THE FRENCH TODAY!
Friend of mind from UL told me that there are some more explanation on this "One Finger Salute"
Origin
The origins of this gesture are highly speculative, but is quite possibly 2500 years old. It is identified as the digitus impudicus ('impudent finger') in Ancient Roman writings and reference is made to using the finger in the Ancient Greek comedy The Clouds by Aristophanes . It was defined there as a gesture intended to insult another. It has been noted that the gesture resembles an erect penis .
Ancient Romans also considered an image of an erect phallus as a talisman against evil spells. As a consequence, displaying this gesture to another may not have been a pseudo-sexual insult but rather an insulting statement along the lines of – "I'm going to protect myself against your witchcraft , before you even start;" but an even earlier reference is made to ancient farmers using this finger to test hens for coming eggs.
Which one is corret? let you to decide.
Well, in all cases, this is not too polite and why we have to use this to insult others?

Cancer Update from John Hopkins
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do
not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few
billion.. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more
cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests
are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached
the detectable size.
2.. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime..
3 When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be
destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple
nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic,
environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing dietand
including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells
and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow,
gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver,
kidneys, heart, lungs etc....
7.. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and
damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8.... Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often
reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation
do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and
radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence
the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and
complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and
become resistant and difficult to destroy.. Surgery can also cause
cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by
not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply..
*CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one
important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like
NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is
harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or
molasses, but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical
added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos
or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the
gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk
and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being
starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is
acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than
beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth
hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people
with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80%fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds,
nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline
environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh
vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and
reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance
growth of healthy cells.. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy
cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including
bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes
are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green
tea is a better alternative and has cancer fighting properties.
Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins
and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of
digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines becomes
putrefied and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining
from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein
walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy
the cancer cells....
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence,
Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the
bodies own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements
like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death,
the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or
unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and
positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger,
un-forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic
environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to
relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment.
Exercising daily and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to
the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to
destroy cancer cells.
1. No plastic containers in micro.
2. No water bottles in freezer.
3. No plastic wrap in microwave.
Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters.... This
information is being circulated at WalterReedArmyMedicalCenteras well.
Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are
highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic
bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.
Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Cast le
Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked
about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not
be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This
especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the
combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the
food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends
using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for
heating food You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So
such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be
removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't
bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use
tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago
some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers
to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as
dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the
food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt
out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a
paper towel instead.
I , myself has ever a micro wave oven at home!
I do not put bottle of water in a car as the heat energy will dissolve the toxin material into the water.
I Try not using too much hand phone as it will cook my Cheek! Only If in urgent necessary!
I try not take handphone close to my head during the first 3 seconds of dailing.
I never use the phone calling when there is only one battery power indicator bar as that will drive the RFE (radio Frequency Emission) energy 1,000 times more than normal power level.
It will cook your face!

I try not take handphone close to my head during the first 3 seconds of dailing.
I never use the phone calling when there is only one battery power indicator bar as that will drive the RFE (radio Frequency Emission) energy 1,000 times more than normal power level.
It will cook your face!

A taste of Chili at Da Ban Steamboat Restaurant Penang
This is a small but unique restaurant with the Penang's Local Sze Chuen Food!
We had tried some Chinese Sauage with Kan Lan in Cantonese Style, Chili Chicken that does not taste as Hot as real Sze Chuen Cuisine in China, though the chicken slice was cvered with Dried chili.
The Seafood fried noodle has that kind of cooking I like, not oily, the noodle was well fried in wok with the texture of noodle. The Pan Fried Slice Pork, Sze Chuan Sour and Hot soup.
Pig Liver soup was one of my favourite as Liver can provide you extra Vitamin K, a liitle hot as they put slices of ginger. We took Ren Shen Wu Long Tea and took Bird nest as the dessert.
Da Ban Steamboat restaurant was opened by a young lady in 2005,
The address is 84, Jalan Zainal Abidin 10400, Penang.

Gradual Growth of US Economy in 2010
US Economy will recover in 2010 and LED business will be continued to be in prosperity in 2010
Barack Obama A positive sentiment of the US Economy and causes market to go up possibly by 10-30 percent as of 2006-2007 corrected stock levels.
United States Military Expenditure cuts by more than 600 Billion Dollars by calling troops from both Iraq and Afghanistan. US Dependency on oil reduces significantly.
United States expects a mere 2-3 percent GDP growth this year like other years.
If they are saving a lot on mainly the Army it can easily turn things around.US has run into so-called crisis since Sep 15 2008, when Lehman Brothers broke down and that means now people would be using all their skills which will make the competition so strong among US Companies that other companies would have to move to United States in order to have the same benefits. US would end up being a super hub of what its now.
The outlook said economic activity in the US was expected to fall by 2.8% this year, better than the 4% decline predicted three months ago. Growth of 0.9% is forecast for 2010, up from zero in March 2009.
Expansion in developing countries is helping to offset the weakness of the rich western economies, even though growth was lower than during the boom years earlier in this decade.
CIBR
China, helped by a "National major stimulus" package, should see growth of 7.7% this year, rising to 9.3% in 2010
Indian growth is predicted to be 5.9% in 2010, accelerating to 7.2% in 2010.
Brazil will contract by 0.8% this year, rebounding to 4% expansion in 2010.
Russia's economy will shrink by 6.8% this year but grow by 3.7% in 2010.
Britain
The economic of Britain is on the way to lose its market supremacy and competition, they will suffer in 2010
Japan
Suffer the down turn since 1989 will not be able to see any change for better sign in coming 2010-2011. Will seek CM and shifting factory to overseas. A benefit for us as the buying decision will be more localized.
IMF CommentThe U.S. economy will end the year mired in recession before mounting only a weak recovery in 2009,.
Majority of US Companies
New research from Deloitte issued today shows that although most major companies surveyed believe that the U.S. economy will start improving in early 2010, many of those same companies will lag behind the general economy when the rebound occurs. The reason: Too much focus on short-term, tactical actions and little attention to structural changes and strategic investments that are needed to support growth in the new business environment.
Approximately 55 percent of companies surveyed feel the U.S. economy will start showing signs of recovery in the first or second quarter of 2010; though 25 percent think relief won’t come until the third quarter or beyond. But, when the upturn does commence, Deloitte believes many companies will struggle to deal with the new economy, which will likely be a completely different playing field from what companies have seen in previous recoveries.
Stronger US Dollar
We can see US dollar is stronger than two months ago US Government will increase interest rate 2010. and less cash will be pumped into the stock market. That will be a way to cool down the mortgage business in USA. Stock market is truly a way to reflect the quality of the companies. Less chance to have stock bubbles burst! That may have bad effect on export but balanced with good buying power for importing oil.
My vision that the US economy will be in a way to grow in Q1 2010, target to have net GDP growth of 1-2.5% in 2010.
