We had a tough Hiking on last Sunday 17 Aug. This is more or less a standard hiking trail for Hiking Club. Up The challenging Needle hill with approx 1,800 steps. Then a distance of 3 KM on Glassy Hill, down 250m to the Lead Mine Pass. To conquer the up trail to the highest point of HK, Tai Mo Shan which stands at a height of 965metres. The ran down a trail of 5 Km to the finishing point of MacLehose Stage 8. Total hiking distance is 13.8km. We spent 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete.The Temperature was the major obstacle as and there was not much breeze at all. My record was 2 hours 45 minutes we made with Jackey Chan some 4 years ago!
