It Probably Happens Only in Hong Kong!

These are the snopshot taken at noon, see that road is wide and have a busy traffic, still you can see a lot of jaywalks!
1. When you are in a restaurant, once you have put down your fork and knife, the waiters may fetch them way immediately...without asking your permission! The rents in Hong Kong is too expensive.

2. Husband calls some one "Ma Mi," loudly in public, and not atonished to see his so called Ma Mi is too young to be his mother... She is his wife actually? Why?
Probably he is too shy to call some one "Darling" "Sweetheart" or " Lo Por " in Cantonese...
Same case for a Wife calling her husband "Dei Di"! I do not find it elsewhere outside Hong Kong!
Funny!

4. Never feel strange that 30% of Hong Kong Man never wash his hands after visiting rest room!
And there are at least 15% of the people did not wipe off the water after washing hand.

5. 40% of the passengers are half sleeping on a morning train, typical Hong Kong People have not sleep enoughat all.... Especially Monday.

6. When you are on a elevator, make sure you are leaned on the right side leaving soem room for people to move on your left, no matter the elevator is decending or asending!
I can tell you that I ahve never meet these people on Tai Mo Shan, what a complex characters of the Peopl of Hong Kong...

7. When People are leaving a lift while the door is satill open, you are advised to leave the door as fast as you can as some one in the lift is pressing the (DC) switch desparately!

8. In The morning, people are so nerviourly pressing the button while waiting for the lift to come down... Even the light is On indicating that the lift controller has received your trigger signal, I have seen a man pressing the button more than ten consecutive stroke!

9. I hardly can see people saying "Good Morning " when we meet in the office ... nodding his head is already a very decent action that he shows his respect to you...Even though you
10. Can you see people reading books in a MTR... less than 1%. What is the percentage in the Train of Tokyo, probably 40%!

11. Can you see people playing PSP in a MTR... more than 10%

12. Can you see a lady smiling at you in the morning in MTR station, if yes, you have to gather your power to run away... she must be idiot or crazy! Not because you are handsome!

13. Have you seen younger people give away his seat to the elderly or pregnant lady... no...never! Why? As They told me that they are afraid that the other people would not accept the offer! And they would feel uneasy or lose face... Naive!

Yes, 50% in Summer time...I think that is nasty!

15. Did you notice that an office manager who is wearing Armani Suit, nice matching tie, carrying leather bag? but his Testoni shoes have not been cleaned for weeks! Poor man, hosuewife never brush shoe for her husband, this is not Japan. I have been staying a week in a friends home in Japan, His wife waked up at 5:00 and wash all clothes, prepare for the breakfast, and cleaned the floor. By the way, my wife still brush my shoes for me.

25. More and more young ladies are prone to be smoker, if there is a 18 years old lady found to be a smoker in 1960. I am sure her parent, her teacher would like to go crazy. And that is a total collapse of the education system. But now...no one would be surprised to see, feel helpless to change and may be more or less to accept it is a fact!

26. I saw people taping the cigarette packet on one hand heavily before they are opened to be consumed. AI have asked some of the smokers for reason why! They said that the cigarette will be packed more densely, the burning will be more effective and the taste is Better! I feel confused... taste better...? I am afraid I will never know the answer until I smoke. But I will not!
Well, I have not seen this action of taping the cigarette in other country... Can someone explain to me that I am incorrect?

27. Have you notice a table of four in a tea house for Sunday dim sum, everyone is reading a newspaper or TV magazine, gossip news of the city's celebrities! Eating their own Har Gao, Siu Mai and talk less than 5 sentences for the whole course of Dim Sum? Parents are seldom communicating to ther kids, If I were them, I will throw away those newspaper!

Hello Paul,

以下是一段節錄自網上討論區的對話,都是香港的特色:
"My sister in law said that Tefal 高速煲 fm Germeny is the bestest 設計 good, 方便 and 安全."

Hi Paul,
那個節目是香港電台第二台早上十時至下午一時的"風show快活人".很多時候他們的話題都取材自報章.

Hi Paul,
我要補充:三份之二這數值是來自我認識的親戚朋友.那節目提醒大家不要稱呼自己的伴侶"Daddy" &"Mami".
