1. When you are in a restaurant, once you have put down your fork and knife, the waiters may fetch them way immediately...without asking your permission! The rents in Hong Kong is too expensive.
2. Husband calls some one "Ma Mi," loudly in public, and not atonished to see his so called Ma Mi is too young to be his mother... She is his wife actually? Why?
Probably he is too shy to call some one "Darling" "Sweetheart" or " Lo Por " in Cantonese...
Same case for a Wife calling her husband "Dei Di"! I do not find it elsewhere outside Hong Kong!

3. When you go to Any fast food shop Like Maxim, Cafe de Coral or Fairwood, it is not strange to see two persons occupying a table of four, and when you ask them are the two other seat occupied, not surprise to expect an answer "yes, occupied!"
4. Never feel strange that 30% of Hong Kong Man never wash his hands after visiting rest room!
And there are at least 15% of the people did not wipe off the water after washing hand.
And at least 10% of the man used the back side of the uniform or toursers to dry his washed hand! I do not know the same practice is valid for women on Hong Kong... Can some one tell me about that>

7. When People are leaving a lift while the door is satill open, you are advised to leave the door as fast as you can as some one in the lift is pressing the (DC) switch desparately!
8. In The morning, people are so nerviourly pressing the button while waiting for the lift to come down... Even the light is On indicating that the lift controller has received your trigger signal, I have seen a man pressing the button more than ten consecutive stroke!
9. I hardly can see people saying "Good Morning " when we meet in the office ... nodding his head is already a very decent action that he shows his respect to you...Even though you

I have been staying a week in a friends home in Japan, His wife waked up at 5:00 and wash all clothes, prepare for the breakfast, and cleaned the floor. By the way, my wife still brush my shoes for me.
