6 Big Lies from the Big Company

Employees are our Valuable Asset
No! That is not true, when there is market slow down, when purchase order is not coming. They have to cut expenses; they would like to impose layoffs, as this will immediate increase the profit margin. When the profit goes up, they will put it last to consider salary raise for their employees, despite, the first thing they do is to increase the income of the executives by mean of performance bonus as they did good job to cut off people increase profit margin and the net profit!
Why Big Corporations Tell It: This is part of the general disinformation campaign that corporations foist on employees in the hopes of generating a sense of Loyalty. While executives probably don’t expect every employee to believe this BS!
Quality First
Quality is money, and money is cost, no one wants to go for good quality product... as it will reduce the profit, only smart and who has long term vision entrepreneur has the guts to product good quality product… most of the CEO is looking for short term profit…they don’t do quality if they involves high cost. They keep on Waive the quality issue, delay this small order ship and give the priority to this big chap. Reduce test procedure as test is non-value added crap, shorten the reliability test procedure.
Products so produced is an optimized Quality-profile-struggling process…
No one makes Amplifier as Marantz, mcIhtosh did in the 60’s.
Your Responses Will Be Completely Confidential
That is a lie, as they need this information to save their cost to find these themselves.
After that they will not give you salary raise, and if that information is related to some personal affair of your top boss. Beware, they will come to you and kick you ass out of the company… So Shut your mouth and don’t talk to keep your position.
We Are a Meritocracy
Why It’s a Lie: Promotion will go to those people who are good butt-kissers, those who have pre-existing connection with the colleagues, of family members of the top guns.
Similarly, an executive comes in at the top and pulls a bunch of cronies with him. Look around and see there are numerous examples in your company!
Why Corporations Tell It: Even though most executives inside Fortune 1000 firms “won” their position as much through connections and politics as through actual talent, they want to believe that they were promoted due to their vast intelligence and ability. Furthermore, they want to convince their underlings that if they work hard and do what they’re told, they’ll be duly rewarded. The fiction of a meritocracy thus allows executives to indulge their vanity, while simultaneously holding an illusory carrot in front of the eyes of otherwise hapless employees.
Our Core Values Are Customer Satisfaction
All corporation have one core value and one alone: to make money.
This is more or less a sales gadget, a sales slogan, at the end of the day even this customer is big, of one day they do not buy, they will be dumped!
Loyal employee will be rewarded
Who s more loyal will be paid less... the company has to answer their end share holder for Revenue, Profit, no one cares this man has been contributed to the company for 25 years, or 30 years, if he can be replaced with a lower cost with similar performance, Why not?
Don’t believe this crap! Stay Safe by working hard like the Dozy bear Yolanda in my Animal blog!!

Things That Have Disappeared and Going to be Disappeared

This is the Paris Theatre in Sun Po Kwong date back to 1966. I used to watch Movie with just HKD$0.80!
1. The Post Office and Stamps
All post office are running by Government and these lazy chaps stay in comfort zone so many years, never learn how to run a Post officer properly. They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term. Less people will pay the Electric bill by posting cheque. And Who will send you a Christmas card or New year greeting card, they have been replaced by e-cards, In 20 years; most of the Post office will only be found in Museum only.
2. The Cheque
How many cheque you write a years, well, there are still some circulating of cheque for the commercial sector as having a trace for the transaction record, Plastic cards, online transactions and e-banking will lead to the eventual demise of the cheque But more is going for e-banking. Britain is already laying the groundwork to do away with cheque by 2018. It costs the financial system billions of dollars a year to process cheques... This plays right into the death of the post office.
3. The Newspaper
Sunday's edition of the 168-year-old News of the World will be the last, said James Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corp.'s Europe and Asia divisions and son of News Corp. owner Rupert Murdoch 10 July 2011.
The younger generation simply doesn't read the newspaper. They read TV Movie gossips.
That may go the way of the milkman and the laundry man. The rise in mobile Internet devices and e-readers has caused all the newspaper and magazine publishers to form an alliance. They have met with Apple, Amazon, and the major cell phone companies to develop a model for paid subscription services.
4. The Book
e-book takes it all, more and more e-book is replacing the hardcopy books in Western world.
5. The Land Line Telephone
In another 15 years, the land line will soon be gone. As everyone will go wireless or Mobile. As the initial installation charge for Land line is extremely costly.
6. Music
The music industry is dying a slow death. Not just because of illegal downloading. It's the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the people who would like to hear it. Greed and corruption is the problem. The record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing. Over half of the music purchased today is "catalogue items," meaning traditional music that the public is familiar with. Older established artists.
So the greatest recording goes to those LP Vinyl in 1950-1970’s so if you have a collection of the greatest record, keep it as this will be the evident of the Human Culture .After another 200 years, Alien will study and found that Human Being has lost their music composition and music talent as the music industry was killed by illegal downloading since the invention of Internet.
On the hardware side, since the first album to be released on CD was Billy Joel's 52nd Street, that reached the market alongside Sony's CD player CDP-101 on October 1, 1982 in Japan. Vinyl was gone but after 15 years, Vinyl is back because of it good music reproduction quality. But as far as commercial product, Vinyl is limited to those Audiophile players.
CD will sooner be dead as people especially young kids go for iTune to buy music and stored in his handphone or iPod as his music library.
7. Home Television
TV and movies streamed from their computers. And they're playing games and doing lots of other things that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV. Prime time shows have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator. Cable rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 5 minutes and 30 seconds.
Watch out your favourite TBV programme, as after 10 years, no more.
8. Fountain Pen
I ask you , who has a Fountain pen? Do not mention writing calligraphy, people even does e not even know how to use a pen properly. Many young people do not even seen an Actual Fountain Pen… Since Watermans invented this Fountain Pen in 1883, Pen has changed the world and culture, a Lot of important Document was signed by Fountain Pen. Now I still carry a fountain pen, as I like the way it expresses! Who understand this traditional beside you and me!?
9. Cinema
Not just the number, the size of cinema has been diminishing, it was a big event when we date Girl, for Movie… and as in Thailand, a girl promised you to go with you for movie mean that she likes you… Now…. you can still see movie at Scale Cinema….in Bangkok I believe when Pen this article, the Scala will be demolished as it is situated in the expensive Siam Area.. Who will go for movie in such a Big Cinema. Remember the Paris Cinema in Sun Po Kwong, that was HK’s largest Cinema, Remember the Palace Theatre, when we used to see “ Somewhere in Times” for the third times? Those were the days
10. The "Things" That You Own
Windows, Google, and the Mac OS will be tied straight into the Internet. If you click an icon, it will open something in the Internet cloud. If you save something, it will be saved to the cloud. And you may pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud provider. In this virtual world, you can access your music or your books, or your whatever from any laptop or handheld device. There is no more actual owned properties of your own files, in another 15 years.
11. Bank Note, passport, ID Card and Wallet
There has been a Spanish club made use of RFID (radio Frequency Identification) technology to implant a tiny RFDI into body skin to replace traditional transactions in the Club, so they can go naked everywhere in the Club. He does no need to carry credit card or cash for shopping. In about 20 years time, there will be no more cash, bank note, The transaction will be replaced by an ID Code, an RFID assignment, put into your body when a body was borne. It carries our social security number your ID card number, you payment code and your other personal particular. So In future we can walk in to any country without carrying any money, passport nor wallet.
12. Privacy
There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, roads, shops, ship, bus, bank, and anywhere there is electricity, who know that there is no hidden camera on a Fashion boutique changing room!?
When you said something wrong or something loud, someone will use his handphone to make a video clip on you're and you will be the hot star or scandal on you tubes a few hours later.
Some one can use a telecamera to picture some one is naked picture through distance of 10KM… There is no privacy, especially you are Rich!
Who Know one day when we are dead, our memory Chip in our brain will be removed and that is Government Properties that has to be protected…!
13. Winter in Hong Kong.
When I was young, I used to wear a sweater in September time frame and jacket in December. As It was cold, My last Coldest Winter was the 2nd Day of Chinese new year, I was on top on the HK Tallest Mountain for picture, As it was 0 degree. And I saw ice pellets on trees and grasses on Tai Mo Shan, TVB Was filming at me asking me why I went there, Yes, I told them this is the likely the last Winter in HK., and I took some evident by bring up the Ikon Camera for photo…
Since then I did not see any Cold feeling in winter. The worse was January 2011, I was hiking on Mount. Phoenix whilst my Tissot Touch recorded 4 degree C…. That was classified very Cold already. In my Wardrobe, I do not have any winter clothes. Good Bye Hong Kong Winter!

The Adventure Is My Life With You

"The adventure is my life with you!"
What a unique and bold window display Slogan, for those who can buy this piece of Diamond to the one you love. A friend recently explained why he refuses to get to married. He says the wedding rings look like miniature handcuffs! Do you think so? Well, just buy one as for her birthday, that I think it does well to your relationship with her.
This is the my preferred jeweler “Tiffany & Co.“
