Saint Valentines' Day

Life is like a penxx, it is simple, straight relaxed and hanging around freely;
Then women come and make it hard!
Wish everyone had a wonderful hard night life…tonight…

Learning HK Cantonese starting From "Lo" 老

Learning Cantonese started from the Word “Old”
In the Chinese language, the word "Lo"老 means old. It also has the connotation of "experienced" or "seasoned".
An experienced or seasoned person can be an expert in manipulation, as shown in the following illustrations:
Two things in life that is difficult to achieve:

1. To plant your idea in someone's head
2. To plant someone's money in your own pocket.

Achieving any one of the above is difficult. But there are people, with the title of Lo, can achieve one or both:
He who succeeds in planting his idea in someone's head - we call Lo See (teacher)
He who succeeds in planting someone's money in his own pocket - we call Lo Ban (boss)
The one who succeeds in both - we call Lo Po (wife) or Lo Chin (trickster)
The one who fails in both - we call Lo Kung (husband)
The old man as father is called Lo Dao.
The Woman who brought you into the world is called Lo Mo.
Lo Kei (un-married mistress)
Lo Lai (good luck)
Lo Shi Fuk (old master)
Lo Meao (old master, also called Old Cat in Cantonese)

Clark Hot Air Balloon Event 9-12 Feb 2012

There is a largest Hot air Balloon festival in Clark Philippines, I was in Clark on the first day, but I woke up late to miss seeing the grand take off of the Balloons. By the time I reached the circuit, I could see most if them had already been flying in the air...
