Memory Of Yao Ming, One Of The Greatest Composers

The news that famous composer Yao Ming succumbed to a stroke on March 30, 1967 shocked the music world. Particularly millions pf his fans in South East Asia and other part of the world.

Yao Ming dedicated his whole life to music in his short life. During his thirthy years before his sudden death, he had written thousands of songs, many of them which including Second Spring (Ding Dong Song), enjoyed world wide popularity.

Yao Ming never attempted to hide his less fortunate youth. Claiming with virtuous modesty, that contributed to his success.

However, those who knew him, are emphatic that Yao Ming was a man gifted with talent so indispensable to be a composer. Borne in Shanghai in 1917, he settled down in Hong Kong in 1950.

He worked for recording and as well for filming industry. He won three times awards for best music at Asia Film Festivals. His extensive tours of Asia, America, and Europe helped to keep him abreast with the ever-changing world trends in music.

He is one of the very few composers who could create such a large numbers of popular songs ranging from Chinese, Classical to pops, from Western folk-songs to up-to-date beat music. All well known singers in China, Hong Kong and many parts of South East Aais, who knew him personally and were in fact grateful for the valuable guidance given them.

They were unanimous in acknowledging that Yao’s death was a great loss to the music world, Yao Best known songs collected in this album are Sung by Tsin Ting, well-known Mandarin singer and one of Yao’s Disciples.

According Tsin Ting told me, she made this album in 3 days only, and at that time, this is considered long, well, she mentioned that the best song she sung was Lover’s tear…

She was paid for HKD4,000.00 for this album…. That was half the money for a flat in Hong Kong at that time…

The Stud Rooster

A farmer went out one day and bought a brand new stud rooster for his chicken coop.

The new rooster struts over to the old rooster and says, 'OK old fart, time for you to retire.'

The old rooster replies, 'Come on, surely you cannot handle ALL of these chickens.

Look what it has done to me Can't you just let me have the two old hens over in the corner?'

The young rooster says, 'Beat it: You are washed up And I am taking over.'

The old rooster says, 'I tell you what, young stud. I will race you around the farmhouse.

Whoever wins gets the exclusive domain over the entire chicken coop.' The young rooster laughs.

'You know you don't stand a chance, old man. So, just to be fair, I will give you a head start.'

The old rooster takes off running. About 15 seconds later the young rooster takes off running after him. They round the front porch of the farmhouse and the young rooster has closed the gap.

He is only about 5 feet behind the old rooster and gaining fast. The farmer, meanwhile, is sitting in his usual spot on the front porch When he sees the roosters running by.

The Old Roster is squawking And running as hard as he can. The Farmer grabs his shotgun and- BOOM - He blows the young rooster to bits.

The farmer sadly shakes his head and says, 'Damn it.....Third gay rooster I bought this month.' Moral of this Story?...

We think we are smart in front of the experienced peoples, well in a company, there are a lot of executives, they have been gone through all those rainny and stormy days…to some of the young managers, they think that they should not paid that much to be an executive.

Who knows one day, the experienced staff will save the company?

We have seen a lot of clusterfuck and cockamamei economy crisis… 1973, 1987, 2001, 2003 SARS and now the so-called worst economy Tsunami in the past 70 years!

God knows when this economy will one day wake up and rise up or it may take more 2 years…for even 4 years keep a L-shape HS index forever?

First quarter: 2.5%
Second quarter: 0.5%
Growth in third and fourth quarters!

I really doubt if that is the real situation as all economy blooms must come with solid drives. Either by the Government bailout, massive job opportunities, nation wide constructions programs or some very good news from all countries world wide.

Whilst we are doing all the best to lower the cost, cutting unnecessary indirect expense, improve the manufacturing process, simplifies documentation for order processing, training for employees for preparation for the next bloom, prepare a new product to meet the market or to create new innovative product to bring out new markets!

All these take time, however who knows if we have time or not, I still think that it is time for more vigorus exercise. It is time for get ourselves slimmer, as a lighter body will run faster, consume less calories and react much faster to our competitors.

I have to be paranoid old spook on the old rooster if they could be able to maintain the company profitability in these years as we used to be in past 3 decades!

Honesty becomes credibility

Only Greedy people lose money and freedom eventually, like some of the CEOs in some of the firms!

Only Honest man could survive in the storms.

In Hong Kong, the rent is too high, the houses are too expensive, the salary of the people is too high!

If the orders drop >30%, no one could survive... The only way is to cut off direct expenses by say pay reduction by 30% seems the only way or we have to lay off!

So be a happy man as if you are not greedy, nor rich... you still have a job! Some one who loves you! Your beloved are with you. You are probably happiest man in the world!

You should be glad that you have found that there are numerous way to make your life more fruitful... more joyous.

Being poor is not a sin, I am proud of my poverty as I have never cheated anymore a dollar! Someone called me idiot, but a idiot sleeps soundy.

Winner Multiplies their size whereas Loser divides in low economy!

Like Samsung and LG, they used to buy equipment and expands their new product line in bad time.

When the business comes again, their competitors who had reduced their production capacity or having no new products will lose all the business to Samsung.

Samsung will expand their market share and easily double their revenue!

I am lucky that I am working in a multiplying company!

So this is my dream:

in year 2011 Mar the laregest Bank will be staying at HKD180.00 a share

This stock "Build the dream" will be around HKD 108.00 a share.

This world largest semi conductor equipment supplier will be around HKD 98.00 a share

Then in 2012 One of the US top three car manufacturers "F" company will acquire the "Build the dream" and the value of the share rised from HKD108 to HKD198.00.
